In her role as Advertising Systems Director for Media General, Inc. in Richmond, VA, Ellie Nickel is responsible for the cross-functional team that supports advertising systems, including Atex, Media Spectrum, Schoom, Encompass, Kubra and the Business Objects Enterprise reporting systems. Her team provides system support, establishes system set-up standards and coordinates with the regional System Administration teams. Ellie has 30 years of experience working with publishing advertising systems. She has worked on Media General’s CIS advertising systems team since January 2006, when she participated in the system rollout throughout Media General. Ellie's career began at a newspaper in Florida, working there for over 26 years. She has been involved with the AdBase system since 2000.
